This blog exists for a variety of reasons, the most important of which is to chronicle the world travels of Mr. Kevin August, international playboy and gourmand of all things academic and true.  It is also the mission of this endeavor to eradicate untruths, inaccuracies, false claims, grammatical atrocities, and all things incorrect.  To this point, let us all remember the words of one of Mr. August's favorite television characters, Jed Bartlett:
